New Compass Phone Cards rates announced

Kia Ora calling cardCompass has announced new calling rates for 4 of its most popular phone cards. Matthew Bell, the National Sales and Product Manager for Phone Cards says "This is a big win for consumers. "Phone card rates to major calling destinations have been drastically reduced on KiaOra, Talk 'n' Save, Go Call and Meihua phone cards. In the case of the KiaOra card, which is one of our most popular, some rates have been reduced by up to 50%."

Compass enters into mobile services agreement with Vodafone
Compass and Vodafone have signed an agreement allowing Compass to resell Vodafone mobile services. It's anticipated that Compass will be able to offer these services in late 2007.

Initially post paid (on account) services will be available for both residential and business customers. 3G data services will also be available, opening up exciting opportunities for mobile hosted exchange.

Compass will be able to offer significant savings to customers on a wide range of mobile plans and offer these as a bundle with fixed line, internet and toll call services, completing our range of business and residential communications services.


Compass radio campaign wins award for second consecutive year

Go Call phone card It's cheap to go call home with a Go Call phone card and it's an award winning radio campaign!

The radio campaign for Compass' Go Call phone card recently took top honours at the 2007 National Radio Awards with wins in the Best Campaign for a Client and Most Effective Ad categories.

We would like to thank The Radio Network for another outstanding effort.

In 2006 the radio advertising campaign for Compass' Talk 'n' Save calling card took away the Best Campaign for a Client Radio Award for The Radio Network.


A new name for Net Tel Communications

Consumer telecommunications provider Net Tel Communications has been brought into the Compass fold and has rebranded as Compass Communications.

Known for sharp consumer toll and internet pricing, Net Tel was purchased by Compass in 2005.

The move has opened up a wider range of services to thousands of residential subscribers, including access to Compass' wireless network.
